Inspiration

Takashi Amano revolutionized the way people design freshwater aquariums. I am inspired by his representation of nature as viewed through nature aquariums, and also other artists like George Farmer, Hironori Handa, and the crew at Green Aqua.

Hiking

If I’m not elbows deep in water, I’m probably hiking! No matter what time of year, the dogs are always ready for an outing, and Colorado offers many places to hike.

Woodworking

I love building things. Being stuck inside over the last year, I’ve had time to pick up woodworking as a hobby. I made this live edge coffee table out of some locally sourced Siberian elm.
