Even though a lot of us don’t think about fish as being a huge commitment, and truthfully they’re not when compared to a dog or child, but they still require a good bit of care to keep healthy. Through my years working at fish stores and owning an aquarium service company, I know that these are the most overlooked areas for people who have never kept fish before.

What’s your budget? Do you want a budget friendly or used tank or would you like to go all out on fancy a new tank?

What’s your goal? Are you looking for a hobby or would you rather pay someone to take care of it for you?
